Indoor Playground Break-Even Calculator
Break-even is fixed costs divided by contribution margin. The part most first plans get wrong is labour: a roster is set per session, not per admission, so a quiet Tuesday still costs a nearly full labour block. This calculator treats labour as a fixed cost of being open and shows the admissions each open day has to carry.

Reading the result
- A single blended spend per admission hides which line is carrying the venue, and a lender will probe it first — model open play and parties separately before you submit.
- If admissions per open day look unreachable in your catchment, the lever is usually utilisation within staffed hours, not price.
- Insurance and the loan payment sit in fixed costs on purpose. They do not fall on a quiet week.

The model assumes labour is a step-fixed cost of opening the doors, not a per-visit cost. If your roster genuinely scales with attendance, move that share into the variable cost field instead.
