What an IPEMA seal covers, and what it does not
The IPEMA certification program covers ASTM F1487-25 with clauses 7.1.1, 10, 11.2, 11.3, 13.1.1, 13.1.2, 13.2 and 13.3 excluded from the certified scope, plus CSA Z614:20 Update No. 1, ASTM F1292-22, F3351-19e1, F2075-20 and F3012-22.
- There is no IPEMA program for ASTM F1918, the soft contained play standard.
- There is no IPEMA program for ASTM F2373, the infant and toddler standard.
- The excluded clauses include accessibility and the installation clauses. A seal certifies the equipment model as manufactured. It says nothing about how your room was installed.
Every structure we build is designed to the relevant EN and ASTM safety requirements for the product type and the destination market. Which requirements those are is set per structure and marked on the layout drawing.
