Fall Height Checker

Two checks in one place. First, does the surfacing system’s rated critical fall height cover the equipment’s fall height. Second, do the drop-test numbers meet the two ASTM F1292-22 performance thresholds at the height the surfacing is rated for.

ASTM F1292-22 scope clause 1.7 lists what a laboratory critical fall height does not account for, including ageing, contamination, weathering and installation variation. A laboratory rating is not a site condition, and it is not a substitute for a performance test on the surface that was actually installed.
